In honor of all men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces… We thank you! {Image (c) Kim M. Bennett, 2010}

On this Veteran’s Day, may we honor the men and women who have served our country in bravery and dedication. May we also strive, as much as possible, to live peaceably among all men {Romans 12:18}, and to live a life that demonstrates the renewal that comes through a relationship with Jesus. As He has forgiven us, led us strive to forgive others.

“…Never pay back evil for evil to anyone. Respect what is right in the sight of all men. If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men. Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written, “VENGEANCE IS MINE, I WILL REPAY,” says the Lord.…”

A Daily Prayer

Praying manJesus, we want others to view the message of reconciliation as it is lived out in our lives and in our daily conversation. Because You reconciled us to the Father through Your sacrificial death on the cross we want to see others experience this wondrous reconciliation when we were snatched from the evil one and transported into the Kingdom of God. What great joy it is to share this message with others, see them respond to Your Spirit, and take them alongside us in this journey of grace.  Keep us faithful in proclaiming the Good News. Amen.

This Daily Prayer is from this Daily Encouragement message.
